From Winter, comes spring, and the new life of the land is seen. The trees are leafing out, and the grass is green. And with it comes more opportunity for train watching. In this video, we travel from West Virginia to Wisconsin to Michigan to Ohio, then west to Colorado. With the Cass Scenic Railroad leading off the show, we see several engines, some pulling log cars like the days when they really were in revenue service, and along the way there is a 'switch back'. The scenery of West Virginia is excellent. SOO Line in Wisconsin gives us a different look at scenery as the steam train #1003 does some fast running through the open farm land. Similar scenes are on Ohio Central's line. One fine display of power is Pere Marquette's #1225 in Michigan, as it passes through quaint towns in central Michigan. Ending with Railway Production's favorite Steam line... the Cumbres and Toltec on Colorado and New Mexico. We see a wide variety of steam with and interesting variation of power, and scenic locations. This is a fine presentation that will be enjoyed time again.
