Erie-Lackawanna's final years, Ohio to Chicago. Begins with a 1968 can ride aboard the "Lake Cities", Youngstown to Marion. During 1974-1976, we progress station by station toward Chicago, viewing E-Units on freight, towers, traffic of intersecting line, semaphores and more. Closing scenes depict E-L's Last Weekend, capped off with a funeral train - a roundup of surplus Alco switchers.

This DVD is not as sharp and bright as I would prefer, but given that it was produced from film shot in the 1960's and 1970's, it's pretty good. I would like to have seen more Indiana content.

Narration: A little too much.
Would kids enjoy this? I doubt it.
Image quality: A little rough around the edges.
Value: Fair.
Recommend? Yes.
