Christmas morning memories from back when the Dodgers were still in Brooklyn are captured by incredible displays at the Gaylord Hotel in Dallas, the Woody Hickman home where trains and decorations fill every room, the under-the-tree layout of Ed Sciortino (where the Polar Express is featured), and the multi-level layout where Rich DeMondo combines Dept. 56's Snow Village buildings with Lionel trains.

We take you on a behind-the-scenes look at Lionel on the Today Show, the tree at Rockefeller Center, and the first-ever Lionel retail store, just across the street from the Radio City Music Hall. We talk to hobby store owners who remember when hobby stores featuring Lionel trains were a must-stop for just about every family in the neighborhood. Plus original music by James Coffey. All shot in high definition and wide screen.

15 years ago we produced A Lionel Christmas Part 1. Time for Part 2. Pure enchantment.

Bonus Featurette
From our Lionel Nation series-Christmas in New York. We visit the Christmas train displays at Macy's, Grand Central Terminal, and FAO Schwarz.

A look at the Girl's train from the catalog is shown, plus a letter from Nancy Reagan on January 28, 1983. A 4-4-2 atlantic pulls passenger cars. From NYC, the TMBV crew heads west to Itasca Illinois for America's best train, toy, & Hobby shop where an interview with Tony Wallace is shown. Tony's first train set was from the MPC/fundamentions era in 1972: it was a Detroit Toledo & Ironton NW-2 Number 8111 hauling freight, while at the same time, his brother got the very first modern era lionel Steam set: the Silver Star. While the original Polar express Locomotive (PM 1225) is down for repairs, a fully restored 726 Berkshire is used to haul the coaches. Although Van Mentioned it, The scene of 726 with the polar Express isn't filmed.

In the Closing Credits, Jim Coffey sings a Lionel Christmas which was originally written composed and performed by Phil Ambrose who he was known for singing that song from the 1995 video, as well as I love cat machines parts 1 & 2, & I Love Christmas.
