Birmingham Southern's diesel power in this program consists of: SW1000, SW1001, SW1500, MP15DC, SD9 and GP38-2's. Witness the Port Birmingham Branchline in action as long BSRR road freights are seen transporting bulk commodities such as coal, coke, and iron ore products. Plus a trio of ex DM&IR classic high hood SD9's are seen with unit coal trains that originate at the Oak Grove Mine and are transported to the Warrior & Gulf Navigation Company's rail and barge terminal at Port Birmingham, Alabama.
