Review of New York City Elevated Railroad Scrapbook DVD

This video is a collection of film clips featuring the New York City elevated railroads from the 1930's to the 1970's. We have compiled this program from 8mm, Super 8mm, and 16mm film clips collected over the last 15 years from numerous sources. The program does not attempt to tell a story nor identify locations, but does give the viewer a chance to see the New York City elevated railroads in non-stop action while enjoying 1940's Big Band music in the background. The program ends with a B&W narrated film titled "The End of the EL". 60 Minutes - Color - B&W - Music
