Review of CSX Charlotte Subdivision DVD

"The Charlotte Subdivision"

The Charlotte Subdivision is home to merchandise and heavy coal trains traveling between the Blue Ridge Subdivision (ex Clinchfield) at Bostic, NC and the Monroe Subdivision (Seaboard's Hamlet to Atlanta Main)
at Monroe, NC.

This is an important route for coal trains originating in Kentucky to power plants in North and South Carolina.

Over 40 trains are documented, many with CSX's impressive AC6000CW locomotives.

Video locations include Bostic, Shelby, Cherryville, Lincolnton, Mount Holly, Charlotte,
Matthews, Monroe NC among many others.

The program also features the numerous historic depots that still stand along the line.

Included is a fold out map and timetable so that you can follow along across the
"Old North State".
