Review of Electric Rails Around The Bay - Sacramento Northern & Red Trains DVD

 4.4 of 5 (7)
Electric Rails Around the Bay - Three Bay Area lines in one video. See the Sacramento Northern, SP Red Trains and the Peninsular Railway stories. This 16 mm film was shot by a variety of rail historians from 1910 to 1957. See the rail and ferry operations in the bay's early days plus the bridge operations that began the era of great change and decline. The Sacramento Northern section covers passenger and some great freight action in the south-end. See the Oakland hills and street running plus Contra Costa county out to the Ferry slip.
