We start our look at the trains of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, at the central station, with electric loco hauled passenger trains, and mu's, and the light rail near the station. Then it's out to a local park to see the trains on the main line, then we visit the area around Dordrecht and Lage Zwaluwe for electric passenger and freight trains, deisel freight and Belgian electric loco hauled freights and passenger trains, former East German/Soviet diesels, private operators and the Thalys high speed train to Brussels and Paris. |
