The Golden Spike Route Today covers the Union Pacific main line from Omaha, Nebraska, 1,776-miles west to Sacramento, California. Join us as we see what the original transcontinental railroad looks like today.

We'll visit all of the important locations:

The Nebraska triple track
Wyoming's Sherman Hill
Utah's Echo and Weber Canyons
The Lucin Cutoff
The crossing of the Sierra on Donner Pass
Approximate running time: 60 minutes

TVD NOTE: Titles that have the words "Today" or "Now" in them can be misleading. Please check the description carefully as this video could have been made decades ago and may not reflect the railroad as it is now.
