Walk with us as we climb the hills of San Francisco and watch the world famous cable cars on the Powell-Hyde line. See these favorite attractions as they climb the steep hills, just as they have for 125 years. Visit the power house and see the giant wheels that drive the cables, and find out how it all works. Finally, ride the cars from Fisherman's Wharf to Market Street, see the scenery and watch the grip man at work.

Worst and overpriced production I have ever bought and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I can understand your frustration. I found this DVD much, much too repetitive. And, this from a Being a native of the area, who used to commute to and from work on the Powell Street cable cars (long before the tourists commandeered them). But it was a trip down nostalgia lane for me being familiar with all the streets, landmarks and neighborhoods, etc.
A much better cable car DVD, I think, is "Ropes and Rails" by Transit Gloria Mundi, if one is interested in San Francisco's cable cars.

DVD shows all the well known Cable Car (photographic) locations. The film is sharp and colour is very good.
