The Scenery is breathtaking. Audio is okay with just enough chatter in the cab to make it interesting. Camera man moved the camera too much but not too bad. Just when you get used to the steady camera it would either pan or zoom in and out to get a better shot and it would take away from the scenery. About half way through the 3rd DVD he left it alone for the most part. The scenes through the Moffat Tunnel were just enough "darkness" to let you see what it looks like. Would like to have a video done with flood lights through Moffat Tunnel.

The reason why there are 2 floodlights inside the east portal, is because of the generator which was located inside the small control booth as well. There is a Special Computer on where the train is in some parts of the tunnel to avoid any fatal accidents.

Shot in June of 1994, This 3 part series took Place During production of "America By Rail: The Heartland" For the Whole Series, Les Jarrett is in the cab of the genesis type locomotive While Greg Scholl Did some Trackside Runbys. There is Not only Commentary from Jarrett and the Amtrak Crew, but also some well done NArration From John Edward Hingsbergen.
