This is actually three subs, the Little Rock, White Bluff and Pine Bluff subs. Directional running through the pine trees of Arkansas, between Texarkana and Little Rock, Little Rock and Pine Bluff and Pine Bluff and Texarkana. Lots of older power and a number of depots still standing. I caught the Little Rock & Western with its C420's at Little Rock Union Station, and got permission to be in the yard at Pine Bluff. For the third time in my career, I got two trains coming at me side by side! BNSF has trackage rights over both the Little Rock sub and the Pine Bluff sub. Taped in fall, 1999. |
