ONLY 112 MILES IN LENGTH, THE P&WV FORMED A CENTRAL LINK IN COORDINATED FAST FREIGHT SERVICE. FILM FROM THE 1950s DEPICTS SEVERAL CONNECTING ROADS, AND WE DWELL AT BREWSTER AND BELLEVUE FOR SEVERAL MINUTES. P&WV FMs MIX WITH NKP BERKSHIRES, AND EVEN 2-10-4s OF PRR AN SANTA FE. .
MOST OF THE PROGRAM IS DEVOTED TO VIEWS OF THE LINE FROM ORRVILLE, OH TO MONESSEN, PA. 260-FOOT HIGH MINGO CREEK TRESTLE, THE IMPRESSIVE MONONGAHELA RIVER BRIDGE AND TUNNELS ARE VIEWED FROM THE ENGINE, A FORMER MISSOURI PACIFIC SD-40.
