Review of Nebraska Short Lines DVD

Nebraska is known as a railroading hotspot. Along with the Union Pacific and BNSF, several short lines operate through the Cornhusker State. C. Vision takes a look at three of these unique short lines.
Take a journey back in time to visit the Nebkota Railway in 1995 when it operated with a pair of FP-7A's. Running on the old C&NW Cowboy Line, the 2 F's look grand in their shiny silver and red paint scheme as the train hauls a string of loaded grain hoppers from Gordon to Crawford.
The Nebraska Northeastern operates on ex Burlington Northern rails from O'Neill to Sioux City, Iowa. We catch a train heading east on the most scenic part of the line from Osmond to Allen, hauling popcorn and ethanol.
Finally, we view the largest short line operation in Nebraska. The Nebraska Central operates 5 line segments in the east central part of the state. The NCRC will treat us to in cab operations in Norfolk, two SD-38 dash 2's on the Ord Sub, and a former MKT GP-40 operating the Stromsb
