Review of Steam and Diesel on the Central of New Jersey in the 1950s DVD

Railfan, professional railroader and amateur historian Lee Avis shot the CNJ in and around Philadelphia in the 1950s. We also see some 1960's Communipaw Yard action from the cameras of other railfans. This is rare footage now brought to you edited and transferred to DVD. Watch 4-6-0 camelback steamers with CNJ passenger trains and heavy 0-6-0 switchers, 800 Class 4-6-2's, roundhouse and turntable action including a Camelback on the table (a Trainmaster too!) and more around the engine servicing facility. Many engines/scenes are subtitles. Shot on silent 8mm film and that is how it comes to you, backed with music, as silent "film" now on DVD. No narration/sound.
