In September, 2001, ex-Grand Trunk Western 4-8-4 6325 returned to the High Iron after completing a thorough overhaul by the Ohio Central Railroad. Join us for full coverage of the inaugural excursions, as this magnificent locomotive runs over the OHCR's ex-Pennsy main line between Dennison and Columbus, Ohio. In cooperation with the Ohio Central, we placed our famous locomotive-mounted ChoochCam minicams in a variety of locations on the 6325 to provide stunning views of the powerful 4-8-4 in action! You'll also see beautifully-photographed trackside, in-cab, and pacing sequences, along with rare archive film footage of the 6325 and other GTW steam power in regular freight and passenger service at such locations as Chicago, Illinois; Valparaiso, Indiana; and Durand, Michigan. As an added bonus, there is exciting coverage of ex-CN 4-6-0 1551 on the regular Sugar Creek excursion runs, plus highlights of the OHCR's first Railfan weekend featuring the 1551, ex-CP 4-6-2 1293, and ex-Buffalo |
