Review of Classic Boats of Lake Winnipesaukee DVD

 5 of 5 (1)
The late Dr. John Perley filmed the boating action on this big New England lake from the 1930's to the 1960's. Witness boat races and hundreds of private pleasure craft. See the SS Mt. Washington in action and in color. The Doctor filmed the smoldering remains of the Mount the morning after she burned. He also filmed the reconstruction of the new Mt. Washington II, including her launch in Paugus Bay and her first trip in the lake at Weirs beach. We also see a small steam boat still in action and a visit to the engine room of the MS Mt. Washington. B&W, Color, Maps and Narration.
