Review of Riding the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad DVD

 4 of 5 (1)
Join Left Coast Rail Videos as we take you along on an epic train ride with the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad, the longest and highest narrow gauge railroad.

Using the newest video technology; we use two HD 4K camcorders mounted on 3-axis gimbal stabilizers. You'll enjoy smooth, rock steady video unlike anything you've seen before.

Along the 64 mile route you'll see the magnificent steam engine and the train as we travel from Chama, New Mexico to Antonito, Colorado with beautiful mountain scenery, as we climb the nearly 4% grades to Cumbres Pass, with an elevation of over 10,000 ft. We'll traverse across three trestles, through two tunnels and cross the Colorado / New Mexico border 11 times. From the mountains of Northern New Mexico, to the high Desert of Southern Colorado, through broad river valleys and rugged canyons, the C&T has it all. It is easy to see why this is one of the top tourist railroads in the US.
