Join Left Coast Rail Videos for a two part program as we take you on board and trackside with the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.
In part one, we take a spectacular train ride on the Durango and Silverton to Silverton. Using the newest video technology; we use two HD 4K camcorders mounted on 3-axis gimbal stabilizers. You'll enjoy smooth, rock steady video unlike anything you've seen before.
Along the 45 mile route, you'll see the magnificent steam engine and the train surrounded by beautiful scenery along the famous Highline and the raging river waters in the Animas River Canyon with peak snow melt. It is easy to see why this is one of the top tourist railroads in the US. Part two takes you trackside, as we catch several of the D&S engines working hard to and from Silverton. You'll see the trains from Durango to Rockwood and Silverton including scenic overlook vistas and the trains rocking and rolling through the Animas River Valley.
