I was pleasantly surprised by this video.
showed a lot of good scenery, showed a lot of the wheel rail interaction of cars (in some spots can actually see rail deflecting) and narration had a lot of good info.
some may dislike the fact narration can't be turned off, but I prefer it personally.

Shortline action at it's finest. Here is a really great video that does an excellent job presenting us with not just a shortline, but one that works really hard in some very picturest country side.
I think that the producer has out done himself to show us how interesting railroading in North Carolina is. The narration is informative as well. And you have to love the older power.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video. It is a nice change of pace from mile and a half unit trains of whatever, 2 mile long stacks and every iteration of GE's..... This is a great look into a small shortline that has never been filmed before(best of my knowledge). BKVP always does detailed research, followed with great narration. There's an interesting Google Earth view of the paper mill in Canton along with associated history. Beautiful scenery in remote North Carolina.

A disappointment. Nothing special here. Disappointing as much for what it shows as well as what it doesn't. My impression it was shot in haste. Boring

Additional remarks by TRAINMASTER:
Narration: Just enough.
Would kids enjoy this? I doubt it.
Image quality: Good.
DVD Value: Overpriced for the amount of enjoyment I got out of it.
Recommend to others? Definitely not!.
