The tracks in this area run along the Gila River and the old Butterfield Stage Route around the rugged Gila mountains. The area is rich with twisting "S" curves and spectacular mountain desert scenery.

You'll also see manifest and autorack trains, most with mid or rear DPU's.
Amtrak's Sunset Limited shows up as well, as does Union Pacific's Olympic engine UP 2002.

This is my first LCRV DVD....being that they are new to the scene and no narration on there DVD's I was a little slow on grabbing one of there DVD's. Nothing ventured nothing gained the saying goes... so I grabbed this one because it was an hour long and I was looking for something that would fill out our DVD shows, two two hour or hour and a half DVD's is too much for me I'm asleep half way through them, with that said below is my review.

Narration & Maps: No Narration which worked out pretty good we could talk during the show with out dealing with narration competing with our conversation....maps and graphics are nice and informative

Filming and Image Quality : The filing and quality is great through out the entire DVD, steady camera work with good sun make for an enjoyable viewing DVD... LCRV appears to know how to film an enjoyable DVD after watching this one I will be picking up more from them.

Conclusion: Well worth the price of admission and recommend, being only an hour long it makes for a nice time filler if you don't want to go for a three or four hour DVD show.

Additional remarks by mySP7377:
Narration: There was no narration.
Would kids enjoy this? Definitely!
Image quality: Excellent!
DVD Value: Excellent Value!
Recommend to others? A "Must Have"!
