Sunrise to Sunset at Lock 13, Randall, NYJune 23rd, 2005.... We set out to document the passage of every train seen during one of the longest days of the year on CSXT's busy Mohawk Subdivision. Fifteen hours and 21 minutes separate sunrise and sunset on this day and an impressive 47 trains were seen! Traffic levels are increasing on the nation's railroads and this line is no exception. A wide variety of power is seen and we will show you many in their entirety. All trains are identified with symbol, origin, destination and time of appearance.
