An excellent presentation of the region covered. I really enjoyed seeing a rail line that I knew so little about. The historical story of this video makes it a favorate here in my collection. Well put together. A "must have" for the rail fans, and for those who enjoy history.

Helmer's O&W was 1 of the first RR books I bought, so seeing and hearing an O&W NW2 right off was a real treat! Many scenes in winter, reminding me (again) why I moved south so many years ago. Of course you can't go wrong where ALCOs appear-another winner in this program. A well done product, leaving me ready for volume 3. I'm really going to want that one

Some nice footage of C430's in action, a chase of two SD45's on Double Stack Train, which last quite a while. Footage of SD70Mac's and B40-8's. Quality of film, runs from fair to very good. No F45's on this program. A very good program.

Additional remarks by Charley Mann:
Narration: Just enough.
Would kids enjoy this? I doubt it.
Image quality: Good.
DVD Value:: Fair.
Recommend to others? Not unless they REALLY were interested in the subject matter.
