This is a spectacular DVD! For some reason I wasn't expecting much, but this turned out to be such a great video that I think it's become one of my favorites. Definitely TOP 5! The camera is basically locked down for the entire trip and I can't quite figure out how it came out so steady. I don't know enough of the technical stuff, but I'm telling you it is ROCK STEADY the entire trip. Of course anyone who has visited the Feather River line knows that the rail line is top quality to begin with. There is no narration and all you hear is the sound of the locomotive and a little bit of radio chatter in the background. The only cutting done was at long train meets. Everything else is continuously uncut. Tons of tunnels, and trestles and the magnificent Feather River Canyons. As if this alone weren't enough, the arrival at Keddie Wye was kind of like the finale at a fireworks show. The entire DVD is from the cab until they got to Keddie and then showed cab view, plus about 4 outside views! Magnificently done. A++. This is a must have! You won't regret it.
