Road to Laredo Tex-Mex & UPRail traffic between the United States and Mexico has grown dramatically in the past two decades. Nearly eighty per cent of the cross-border rail trade takes place at Laredo between the Texas Mexican Railway, already a member of the Kansas City Southern system, the Union Pacific, and Mexican railroad TFM. This video shows all the trains on the two American lines into Laredo - the Texas Mexican or Tex-Mex between Corpus Christi and Laredo and the Union Pacific between San Antonio and Laredo in May of 2003. 92 minutes.
