A steam excursion, running year round, makes this a popular tourist railroad as well. Nothing is quite like seeing, or riding aboard, the steam train in the deep winter snow. But then again, the summer dinner train does offer its own advantages.

This program has been historic since the McCloud railroad went bankrupt in 2008. Today engine 25 has been moved to its new home in Oregon.
