Climb Aboard For Spectacular Lionel Action!

We visit the Pacific Northwest to see the amazing collection and layout of David Dansky, who operates and collects all makes of Prewar and Postwar trains. Even operates some Modern Era, like the stately Standard Gauge Hiawatha.

Bill Spaulding of Seattle loves the Northern Pacific so much he custom-painted Lionel Postwar originals in authentic NP colors. The result – an incredibility realistic, scale-detailed, hi-rail layout.

We check out Lionel's Postwar motorized units along with their real life counterparts, and we see how Lionel's fine model of the Southern Pacific's GS4 Daylight stacks up against the real GS4 Daylight – one of the most beautiful steam locomotives ever made.

Norm Charbonneau, the creator of the spectacular Legacy-controlled layout featured in Lionel Nation Part 2, is back with more weathering tips. We also demonstrate how to add scale details to a locomotive for a more realistic look.

A great mix of Lionel action that will appeal to all Lionel enthusiasts, no matter their area of interest.

This is the only Lionel Nation Video to Feature a real Steam Locomotive(As Jeff McCommas' favorite Steam engine Traveled all the way from Portland To Owosso for Trainfestival 2009). Overall, Great layouts, and a great story on Lionel's Post World War 2 Motorized units. My Gripe for this video is that on the weathering and detailing segment, Tom McCommas Does all of the Talking On Norm Charbonneau's Painting of a Pere Marquette Boxcar, while he should've left Norm do all of the talking because of the little mike is still attatched to his shirt.

Additional remarks by Steamboy:
Narration: Just enough.
