As much as I want to say for myself, this 10 year old DVD is still popular for all ages to enjoy. The Tractors and combines were really sweet, plus some railroad clips such as TM's own John Deere Heaven Layout made by MTH is shown as well as some well done music by James Coffey.
In part 2, There is a visit to the Assembly plant in Waterloo Iowa to see how the 9000 series tractors are built. Plus some vintage 1930's films on how tractors are built were shown. The 637 Disk segment features an instrumental version of the I Love Big Trains opening theme, and a brief history on JD tractors. As well as a James Coffey Song: It's John Deere On Parade. Plus a second part of the JD factory is also included, which features some finishing touches on the installation. In addition, there is an educational segment on how the DB90 Planter works in some fields. As well as a James Coffey Song: I'm a John Deere Man. Plus an educational segment for how the 926 MoCo tractors played a huge role in Hay Harvesting. As well as how the big 2112e scrappers move the dirt in high or low places with some help from the big 9530 Tractor, and the small 950 dozer. A musical background of the farming animals is shown, as well as a modified Version of I've been Workin' on the Railroad with John Deere Toy Trains in JD Heaven, is sung by James Coffey. A special Silly Otto segment where the William Tell Overtune from Lionel Nation 6 is used as Otto is running late with with the DB90 Planters. Finally we're back in the Factory for the last minute test preparations as well as being loaded onto railway flatbeds and Big Rigs. A Modified version of Early in the morning From ILTT part 4 is used, but with John Deere Machines. As well as a segment on the 7950 harvester. Not to mention on how Cows gave milk.
In part 3, You'll learn about Farming in America With JD machines, and how farmers deal with planting different crops along with some help from their past generations. A first visit to Backwardsville is shown, and a visit was made to the Pavilion in Moline, IL for AG day. An educational segment on Road Construction is also shown with a James Coffey Song Before You Know It You've Build Something, which was re-used from All About John Deere part 4. Plus an education segment on the Triple Threat pulled by a 7280R Tractor. A history on what the words Finding Your Way means, with some animated cartoons on the GPS green star demonstrations. As well as James Coffey's modified version of I've Been Workin' on the Railroad with More Footages of MTH and K-Line Trains, despite it was shortened for this part. There is also an educational segment on how JD played a huge role on Removing Heavy Snow in The Colorado Rockies. An educational segment on how Cotton is made. A visit to the Fillmore Equipment inc. in Three Rivers, MI for the rush hour Service shop is shown, plus Like Backwardsville, there is a visit to Speedyville where everything goes really really fast. There are also many jobs on how Skid Steers do besides farming and digging on the road. Plus a fun segment on Gators (No I'm Not Talking about the wild animal, Its about the fast 2 seated 4 wheel mini-monsters in the dirt and in the forest). Not to mention a segment on how a disgusting thing in a TMBV show is used for JD. To me, let's call them "Melch". It also used the instrumental version of the I love Big Trains Opening song. Finally the is Part 2 of the Modified version of I've Been Working on the Railroad with John Deere Words. And As An added Bonus, we'll learn about Hay Bailers.
So, in conclusion: Would I Recommend these 3 DVDs? Well, I want to say Yes at first but I don't think that the Ugly brown Melch is appropriate for a kids show. But better yet, It's Still important to Learn from TMBV more often rather than Sesame Street's Quarter of A Billion Viewed Videos of Elmo's World on Youtube.
