We set off in October, 2004, to look for what's left of the WC after the CN takeover, and this is what we found. CN seems intent on obliterating the WC & IC, but we found'sfew units still in WC paint, albeit a bit shabby. We followed the line from Rugby Junction to Fond du Lac, spending some time on the now double tracked Byron Hill, up to Winnebago and across to Stevens Point and on to Junction City. Fall colors.

Wisconsin Central, now part of the greedy Canadian National. And CN seems set on getting rid of any notice that the WC existed. In the autumn of 2004, Highball does a fine job finding the WC units that remained, and a great video it is. Mind you... there is lots of CN power, but that is to be expected several years after the take over. The fall colours are beautiful and well worth seeing. Thanks Highball.
