Four full seasons of steam railroading: It all adds up to a captivating new Golden Age of Steam on four DVDs, comprising an entire year of rail videos produced for rail fans and hobbyists alike.

Steam in the Spring starts a sensational, seasonal steam saga with eight separate rail journeys pulling passengers and freight all over the USA, from New Mexico to Michigan and Ohio to Owosso.

The rails heat up with Steam in the Summer featuring six featured steamers including Colorado's majestic Eureka & Palisade locomotive #4 built in 1875, and the Ohio Central's passenger train gliding through Amish country.

Crisp days and vivid twilight provide a colorful backdrop to Steam in the Autumn offering seven vibrant excursions throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

The calendar winds down with Steam in the Winter and its threesome of exciting freight recreations including a thrilling run from a Nevada ore mine.

From Chattanooga to Chama, on Canadian National or the Western Maryland Scenic, these video rail voyages are certain to usher in a renewed Golden Age of Steam.

My 2 1/2 yr. old grandson loves trains and loves this set of videos. The old steam and coal engines are great fun to watch. He loves the sounds the trains make and appreciates the bell and whistle sounds as well as the sound of the steam. I really appreciate the option of turning off the narrative. At his age, he is really only interested in the sights and sounds of the trains but he may enjoy the narrative as he gets older. The quality is excellent and the price for the 3 disc set was cheaper than a single DVD from other companies. Thank you for a great job done.

Excuse Me Sir. What you didn't understand is that 1 to 2 stars out of 5 are the worst, 3 out of 5 is neutral, and 4 to 5 stars are the best reviews.

Those 4 Dvds Feature The Footage & Narration Of Les Jarret Himself. I Got This Boxset At A March 2008 Train Show In Wilmington. Parts Of Those DVDS Focused On Ohio Central 6325 & 1293. I'm Not Sure If It Is Collectible Or Not But It Is What It Is.

If you want your kids to LOVE Steam Trains then THIS is the video collection! My sons have watched Steam in Spring since they were 1 and 3 years old. They watch at least one of these videos every day - they LOVE them. We live near a steam rail museum. Our small steamies did not inspire him but now he has seen the great engines the romance has caught him - my older son wants to be an engine driver and I could not ask for a better aspiration at his age. Thank you!
