You can always expect the best from Rich Scheid, and this DVD is no exception! Every scene in this production was interesting and informative. Even though CN was pushing its new Canadian National North America label at the time Rich taped these scenes, there are still plenty of shots of Grand Trunk, Duluth, Winnipeg and Pacific and other forms of foreign power to be seen. A venerable CN slug even makes an appearance. The best shot of all is a CN freight train at speed plowing through 16 inches of freshly fallen snow at a railroad crossing. Poof! Hands down, this was a great buy.

Additional remarks by Joe:
Narration: Just enough.
Would kids enjoy this? Maybe.
Image quality: Good.
DVD Value: Excellent Value!
Recommend to others? Definitely.

Southern Ontario, Canada; Southeastern Michigan. 2 great Railroad locations in one movie. Green Frog takes you on an exciting trip from east to west across Ontario's agricultural heartland starting in the Honeymoon Capital (Niagara Falls), through London - Ontario's largest city west of Toronto, on to Sarnia Ontario - home of one of the great railway wonders - The St. Clair Tunnel connecting Canada and the USA via rails under the St. Clair River. Sarnia Ontario - Port Huron Michigan is always an exciting trip for the railfan. Now this movie brings it to life by having it at home. Continue south to the great auto city of Detiot Michigan. There is plenty of action, lots of various locomotives, pulling all kinds of merchandize that keeps 2 nations prosperous. Excellent movie and a freat addition for any one's collection.
