The High Def quality is very good on most of the BluRay disc. There are parts where the quality is lacking -- but it well could be due to lighting and weather. The views inside the cab are excellent. The various gauges stand out and are clearly readable in a lot of shots. Since I live in Northern California - I have actually rode on the Feather River railroad (Western Pacific) and over Donner Summit in the Sierras (Southern Pacific). It is beautiful Western mountain scenery along with a beautiful steam locomotive. |
