I first saw this video on RFD-TV and absolutely loved it. When the program was finished (60 mins.), it said the video was shortened for time due to the program only being a one hour program, then offered the ordering info to get the DVD which offered 45 minutes more of video. Well, I had to get the DVD but chose to purchase it thru Train Video Depot as I'm an avid fan of TVD... not to mention I saved a few bucks buying it from TVD. If you like mountain running with lots of snowy scenes, this is a great video. Not only does the video show plenty of BNSF and UP footage, it also shows some local railroading as well. It's got plenty of tunnel and bridge footage with some of the clearest, sharp imaging I've seen. This DVD is a must have for the avid railfan and one that you will want to watch over & over again. I highly recommend this DVD.

This is yet another quality Bluray production from my now preferred train documentary maker. You have to see the quality on a HD TV to really appreciate what an enormous leap forward in technology these Blurays from this producer are. Very well done indeed and recommended to all diesel lovers.

I loved to watch this dvd w/ my laptop on Google Maps & follow the progress on the line from Klamath Falls to Keddie. As w/ other 7idea Productions the videography is outstanding. I own ALL of their productions...the last being "Donner Pass..." in Blu-ray. Can't wait to watch that one. They produce some of the highest quality railroad videos going!! I will purchase anything they deliver.

This was my second 7ideaproductions DVD, the first being the Marias Pass DVD. The Marias Pass DVD was simply spectacular, and if you are interested, you can read my review of that DVD for comparison. The BNSF Gateway DVD was excellent in terms of video quality, but the subject matter was not all that interesting to me. After watching two 7ideaproductions videos, I am very impressed with the quality of the camera work and with the quality of the video. The images are sharp, and the color is great. I will definitely be purchasing more 7ideaproductions DVDs. Tom

Recommend to others? Not unless they REALLY were interested in the subject matter.
