CHAPTER 2: THE CHAMA TURN
Step back in time over forty years to the closing days of the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad, the last vestige of steam-powered narrow gauge lines. This incredible film, a time capsule of working freight operations from long past, features the Rio Grande route between Antonito and Chama, including the famed narrow gauge line between Durango and Silverton. Shot in spectacular color by noted railroad photographer Emery Gulash.
