A Northern New England Caboose OdysseyA group of railcar enthusiasts is headquartered at Northfield-Tilton, NH. They own passenger cars and cabooses and operate excursions and dinner trains on the Hobo Railroad. As it turns out, one of these buggies was the same M-E-C car that Gary had photographed. Its owner, Frank Judge, has restored and modified it for the caboose train. Frank was asked by the New Hampshire Central to lend them his caboose for an inspection trip of the line by state and county officials after it was refurbished. The caboose is lettered "Winnepasaukee River". He arranged for the caboose to be shipped via rail… Gary, also a private car owner from the group, followed in his car to video tape the trip. This was a rare opportunity- "A Caboose Odyssey".
